Medical Law

We advise and represent health professionals, in particular doctors, dentists, physiotherapists and pharmacists, in the field of medical law.

We assist doctors in the establishment of a medical practice, the transfer of medical practices, and draft articles of association and purchase agreements. We represent physicians from various medical fields, e.g. orthopaedics, surgery, anaesthesia and ophthalmology, out-of-court in case of allegations of treatment error and in liability litigation.

In addition, our activities include the support of health professionals in professional proceedings and in remuneration law, e.g. in the context of performance audits, as well as in labour law issues. We draft employment contracts for medical practices and pharmacies for medical and non-medical employees as well as for pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical pharmacy staff.

Another focus of our work is supporting and advising pharmacies, in particular the drafting and negotiation of lease and property management agreements, as well as purchase and rental agreements. In addition, we represent pharmacies before the responsible supervisory authorities in proceedings for the implementation of the Pharmacy Act, the Pharmacy Operating Regulations and the Medicines Act, for example as a result of regular inspections. Our range of advisory services also includes competition law and pharmaceutical advertising law issues, which regularly arise in connection with planned marketing measures.
